The laser engraver is equipped with a CO2 laser. This laser has a wavelength of 10,640nm and is ideal for the processing of non-metallic objects. The working principle behind the machine is quite simple. The laser beam is emitted by the laser source and then passed through the optical system, which creates a focal point with high energy. This focal point heats up the surface of a given object and subsequently vaporizes it. Fracturing and flaking may occur. In a nutshell, this is how materials are removed from object surfaces, creating engraved images.
Our laser engravers are defined by laser power (40W, 60W, 80W) and the XY motion distance (20"*12", 36"*24", 48"*36"). Prior to placing an order, clients should first confirm that the machine is compatible with the type and size of the engraving materials.
The CO2 laser engraver can process non-metallic materials including wood, cloth, acrylic, glass, plastic, rubber, paper, etc. It is a widely used by industries such as advertising and craft & gifts.
